Sometimes I get confused with my subject-verb agreement when I have too many subjects in different numbers too.

    This post overlooks the misspelling and is incorrect. ‘Any’ is a singular pronoun and the sign is grammatically correct. It’s like saying, “None of these houses is orange.” That is a correct sentence, too, because ‘none’ basically means ‘not one.’ (However, if it weren’t complicated enough, ‘none’ is the only pronoun that can also be a plural subject when referring to multiple groups.)
