I guess the cake decorator really got on a roll and didn’t know a r from a u from a d from a…well, you get the idea.

This is a REAL cake, as decorated by a local grocery store bakery for the going away party of a staff member who was moving. We were pretty much in hysterics when we took it out of the box. It WAS supposed to say “congratulations” — must have been done by a student. great quality control!

By the way, you said the cake decorator, “didn’t know a r from a u…” Shouldn’t you have said an instead of a?

  10. lurker says:

If you want to get technical it says “congradulations.”
For those of you who pride yourselves on your grammar you obviously have forgotten what cursive is. When using cursive a n looks like a m and a m looks like a three humped m…mn. You’ll notice it is the same at the end with the n looking like a m there as well.

As for the spelling being congradulations, that would be ironically funny if the person was a graduate.

lurker…to be honest, I write in cursive all the time, but my “n” doesn’t look like an “m” and my “r” doesn’t look like a “u”…
