Just cleaning out photos from my old phone and found this I took in the supermarket a few years ago. Hard to believe a product (Fehlbergs Fire Roasted Red & Yellow Pepper) would make it onto the shelf with such a mistake, but it appears it was taken off the market fairly soon after this as I haven’t seen them since!

This company, which appears to be called Pinnacle, has gone to the trouble of giving itself an ‘identity’ whereby the ‘A’ in ‘Pinnacle’ resembles an inverted ‘V’. I’ve no idea why, but hey, it catches the eye, and they’ve obviously spent time thinking about what they’re doing. Good for them. There’s also a coloured logo, part of which is visible on the left. All this goes to create a corporate image, no doubt. One which is designed to look good, surely?
However, they seem to have left themselves no time to bother proofreading the rest of the text…
I’m constantly amazed at how companies (including the City Council) can present themselves in such a sloppy manner.
I can only assume homos is supposed to be Hummus? Still, I wonder what the small homo plate would serve?

What goes on in the dinning room?
This wonderfully mis-spelled homemade sign has been hanging around the exit to the Paintworks in Brislington for years. It had previously been propped up in various positions. I found it again recently, as shown here, discarded on the grass verge on the opposite side of the road near the enterance (sic) to Arnos Vale cemetery.
Maybe it was another Hom that made the lasagne? Two funny typos for the price of one.
Hard to believe this isn’t done with Photoshop, but it is funny either way.
